Apostle Islands ice caves are open

The Apostle Islands National Seashore are located in northern Wisconsin.  The weather this year has produced ice thick enough on Lake Superior to allow access to ice caves.  Approximately 1000 people a day are making their way to the caves.  Officials hope that they can keep the caves open for another month.
