Kent State University- May 4, 1970

Four killed and nine wounded on Kent State University's campus.  Many have attempted to explain just what went wrong on that beautiful spring day in Ohio, but no one agrees on the answer.

An apparent unbiased look at the circumstances surrounding the tragedy were presented in a paper by Jerry M. Lewis and Thomas R. Hensley.  Jerry M. Lewis is an Emeritus Professor of Sociology at Kent State University.  You can read the paper here.
