WOBO, I'll drink to that


In 1960 Alfred Heineken had an idea to bottle his beer in bottles that could be repurposed to build housing for the impoverished people of Curacao.  He enlisted Dutch architect John Habraken to design the interlocking bottles.  They were named World Bottles (WOBO), but unfortunately they only went as far as the prototype stage.
